A group of  entrepreneurs from Brescia industrial area experts in metallic surface treatments set up Protec Surface Technologies company more than ten years ago.
Company aim was to develop technologies in surface coatings by means of PVD technology updating traditional techniques, especially in decorative field.

At the beginning Protec Surface Technologies was both committed in making coatings for  third parties and developing and selling plants.
Thanks to our attitude to innovation, research and  development Protec has become leader in PVD coating market in few years.
In 1999 Protec split in two companies: Protec Surface Technologies, dedicated to engineering, assembling and selling plants only, and Protim (nowadays Protimlafer leader in Europe in decorative PVD coatings field) dedicated to coatings for third parties.
Consequently Protec Surface Technologies could focus its activity to high vacuum coating technologies implementing R&D department, acquiring specific skills which enabled us to offer turnkey solutions and custom made plants, which we consider our main success key.

Today, Protec Surface Technologies  headquarter is based in Bedizzole (Italy) in a 6000 sqm modern manufactory plant where testing, assembling and technical assistance activities are carried out.
